IN THIS ISSUE:

GIGS

September and October were busy months!  Mike did concerts with Don & Wendy Francisco, including Fairplay, Colorado, and playing for Andrew Wommack's annual conference in Colorado Springs.  There was also a Habitat for Humanity solo concert in Fort Collins, Colorado, where Mike shared the bill with some great artists, including SHEL, a band made up of four very talented sisters.  You'll be hearing more from them, for sure.  And finally, Mike spent a weekend doing a seminar for the music team at Mountain High Christian Center, in Conifer, Colorado, and played in the Sunday morning service there.  What a great group of folks!

The calendar is quiet for the moment, but check the schedule page, as we're working on more solo gigs, including some potential joint concerts with old friend Bill Maxwell.  (Mike produced Bill's CD "To a Higher Place" in 1994, and they recently joined up a did a concert together in July 2009.)  There's also a tour with Don Francisco planned for Texas and Oklahoma in spring 2010.

If you are interested in sponsoring a concert or event with Mike, contact him directly at mike@mikebanta.com.

SEMINARS

Mike is now available to do seminars with church praise and worship teams.  These are custom designed sessions for teams which can include team building, instruction in church worship concepts, and musical coaching.  Contact Mike directly at mike@mikebanta.com if you are interested in this type of event.

MP3s

We have an active mp3 store up and running on mikebanta.com.  Purchases can be made via credit or debit card, or via Paypal account. We've uploaded the entire "no words" cd at this time.  This is the best deal on the internet for this CD.  Not only are singles available for $.97, the entire CD can be downloaded for $7.99.  This beats iTunes, Napster, and every other outlet out there.  In addition, two of the singles are actually compilations:  Foreword and Kaboom have been incorporated into a single mp3, and Word of Life, There Are No Words and From Everlasting have been incorporated into a single mp3.  We did this because these songs are already together on the CD as seamless performances. Check out the mp3 store for more details.

If you haven't heard Mike's No Words CD, we now have a player with samples available on the No Words page.

INTERNET RADIO

Mike can be heard regularly on Rocky Mountain Radio (rockymountainradio.com), so be sure to check it out!

RECORDING

We're still working on the remixed and remastered version of Fire to be released by end of year, retitled as "Fire of Heaven".  It will be available in the mp3 store first, then as a CD.  There's also a possibility of a video coming out with this, so stay tuned!

Mike continues to write for his third CD, tentatively titled "287 Highway".  We hope to have some samples of this up and available on the New Music page soon.

Until next time, cheers from Mike & HomeBound Music!
